4 Vocabulary: Friends or Lovers?
“The friend zone” – when someone likes you as a friend, but you like them more than a friend I like him, but I think that I am stuck in the friend zone. Emotional bond/connection – when you feel emotionally connected to another person I shared all my secrets with him; we have an emotional connection. Sabotage – when you try to destroy something secretly I hate that they are dating, so I want to sabotage their relationship. Boundary – a point in a relationship that cannot be crossed I think he likes me, so I have to be careful to set up boundaries, like never being with him alone. Platonic – only friends and no sexual desire I’m sorry, but our relationship is purely platonic.

5 What is “The Friend Zone”?
No physical connection They ask for advice on other relationships They are comfortable with you but nothing happens They always want to hang out in groups They try to hook you up “I like you, but let’s just be friends.”
