“The friend zone” – when someone likes you as a friend, but you like them more than a friend
I like him, but I think that I am stuck in the friend zone.
Emotional bond/connection – when you feel emotionally connected to another person
I shared all my secrets with him; we have an emotional connection.
Sabotage – when you try to destroy something secretly
I hate that they are dating, so I want to sabotage their relationship.
Boundary – a point in a relationship that cannot be crossed
I think he likes me, so I have to be careful to set up boundaries, like never being with him alone.
Platonic – only friends and no sexual desire
I’m sorry, but our relationship is purely platonic.
