To engage with the UK’s research community
to participate in RDA activities and adopt RDA outputs
Events (Webinars, meetings, workshops, training courses etc.)
Discussion
Coordination
Support
Promotion of open calls for European participation in RDA
(plenary meetings, support programmes, ambassadors, early career programmes, etc.)
Dissemination of RDA activities and outputs
encouraging participation in RDA activities and adoption of outputs,
leveraging on the knowledge of the local research system
Liaison with Funding bodies
Jisc and STFC are themselves also funding bodies
We do not plan to set up an RDA/UK legal entity
Node is delivered by STFC and Jisc

STFC coordinates EOSCpilot and FREYA
STFC participates in EOSC-Secretariat and FAIRsFAIR
UK has many RDA members and leadership of several Groups
Relationship with RDA Council and Foundation
RDA Foundation is in UK
Participation in Council though OAB co-chairing
Admin support to Secretary General
(Hopefully) will host plenary in future
(maybe in 2.5 years)
