2. What is dendrochronology?
Dendrochronology also called ‘Tree ring dating’, is the scientific method of dating based on tree rings. Dendrochronology can date the time at which tree rings were formed, in many types of wood, to the exact calendar year.

3. How do we use it?
We use it by counting the rings in trees. The width of the ring added to the outside of the tree is in part dependent on the amount of moisture available to the tree. So, trees in the same area add thin rings during dry years and thick rings during wet years. You have to be very precise when doing this, or your results will not be accurate.

4. Artifacts that have been dated using the technique
We could not find specific artifacts but using dendrochronology you can find the ages of things such as : Wooden wells, wooden boats, wooden walls, special wooden trees that were royal to the kingdom, wooden houses and wooden tools.
