and we beheld his glory...” (John 1:14)

4 Almighty - he is the King of glory.
Who among the gods is like you, Lord? Who is like you - majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? (Exodus 15:11) Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty - he is the King of glory. (Psalm 24:8-10)

5 Since the beginning of the world, everything you have created has carried the fingerprints of your glory The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. (Psalm 19:1-4)

6 Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.”
Moses asked to see your glory, and you were pleased with him and knew him by name Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.” And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.  But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” (Exodus 33:18-20)

7 When Lazarus passed away, you wept, and you showed them your glory
Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance.  “Take away the stone,” he said. Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” (John 11:38, 40)

8 Jesus says to us, this is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. (John 15:8) Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvellous deeds. Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. (Psalm 72:18-19)
