Our country is located in South-East Europe in the southest edge of the Balkan peninsula in East Mediterranean. It is a crossroad between Europe, Asia, and Africa. The capital city of Greece is Athens.

4. Some facts about Karditsa
Karditsa is a town in western Thessaly in the mainland of Greece.
It is about 300 km far from Athens and 200 km from Salonica.
There are about inhabitants in our town.
Karditsa is one of the most bicycle-friendly towns - cities in Europe with an extensive network of bicycle paths. Approximately 30% of all the city transportation is done by bicycles according to the National Technical University of Athens.

11. Some information about our school
Our school is the 4th high school of Karditsa.
It is a school of general education which prepares students to get to the university.
There are approximately 360 students and 37 teachers in our school.
There are many facilities in it: two science laboratories, two ICT labs, a large gym hall, a canteen, a football pitch, volleyball and basketball courts.
