Review the LR-WPAN Std D7.2 Version
Listen the proposal from IA and Freescale (Presented by Dr. K.H.Chang) about adopting the OQPSK modulation to CWPAN’s LR-WPAN std.
Dr. Pei Liu (Hisilicon) reported the super-frame modification on CWPAN
Chinese Std Institute introduces the R&D progress for Chip Evaluation Instrument and Procedure under CPWAN std.

Schedule of CWPAN Std
The new tech proposals may be not accepted after Oct
The draft of LR-WPAN std will be took the letter ballot in Q4/07.
In Q1/08, the draft may be modified and upgraded based on the feedbacks.
In Q2/08, the draft will be took sponsor ballot in Q2/08
Expect to be approved before end of 08.

Several Issues
Agree to study to PHY proposal from IA and Freescale, prefer to receive more tech proposals before Oct. 1.
In Sept, give the final summary about the key tech points and initial testing results in LR-WPAN
Finish the final Tech draft of std on time
Some companies may prepare the MAC proposals for IEEE std meeting

Other Sub-group under CWPAN
High-rate WPAN Task group (UWB) is organized.
One Wireless Sensor Networking SG group (Wireless Sensor Networks) is organized.
Both of groups would like to copy the LR-WPAN working style.
