2 Problem definition – ch. 5 exercises
Work in teams of two or three. Write responses for the following exercises: 5.6 Choose one: 5.7, 5.8, 5.9, or 5.10 Report out.

3 Reading strategies, applying course content
Read the article independently. As you read, develop a set of Cornell notes to document you thinking. Dan will explain how to write Cornell notes. After you read, work in a group of two or three. In your group, document all the ways in which course content might be applied to the article. Report out.

4 Report #6 – due Oct. 21 Think of a specific, complex problem. Discuss how you might generate solutions to this problem. Incorporate at least three concepts from chapter 7 into your report.
