3. Monday 11 September Insulators and Conductors
SLO: Sort a range of items into insulators and conductors.

Demonstration – Flex: why is it made this way?
What is an electric circuit? What does it need to work? – diagram and notes off the board.
Practical – set-up a simple circuit to make the light bulb glow.
Insulators and conductors – notes, examples.
Practical – sort the materials into insulators and conductors.
Re-cap flex.
Homework: Keywords plus identify 5 insulators and 5 conductors at home.

4. Thursday 14 September Drawing Circuit diagrams 1
SLO: Draw circuit diagrams correctly using circuit symbols.
