1 Holocaust By: Cassie Gillis, Madalin Kendall, Kaitlynn O’Donnell and Coady Currie.

3 Holocaust The Holocaust was caused by Adolf Hitler, Who was Chancellor of Germany! Holocaust is also referred to as death by fire or mass killing of the Jews.

4 Otto Frank Otto Frank was Anne Franks father and he survived the Holocaust. He also returned to Germany on June 30th1945 and died there at the age of 91 in 1980.

5 Locked up All jews were locked up in concentration camps. Also Anne Frank died in a concentration camp at the age of 13 in 1945.

6 On On May 7th in 1945 Germany surrenders and WWII is over.
11 million people died during WWII because of the Holocaust. Homosexuals Gypsies Jews Anyone with mental or physical disabilities. And many more….

7 Chancellor Hitler was elected chancellor of Germany on January 30th 1933. Then the rain of hate began.

8 Anne Frank Anne Frank was a girl involved in the Holocaust who wrote a diary about the events she encountered during the Holocaust.

9 United The allied forces united to defeat Germany. Germany surrendered on May 7th 1945. Then the allied forces released all of the people in concentration camps.

10 Secret Annex Anne and her family hid in a secret annex and Miep Gies was a helper that brought them food and things to survive.

11 typhus In Between February and March of 1945 Margot and Anne die of typhus.

12 Our opinions Madalin- The Holocaust was a very depressing time in our history and I hope it never happens again. I believe we should live our life to the fullest… Kaitlynn- The Holocaust was terrible so many innocent people died. I hope it never happens again. Coady- I learned that one powerful person can sway public opinion. Cassie- The Holocaust was a very sad time in our history but even though so many bad things came out of it, we now get to learn so many interesting things that we never would have learned if it never happened.

13 Final conclusion The Holocaust was a very scary time that caused so many bad things to happen to innocent people, the holocaust is a part of history that will never be forgotten all the people that died will live in our hearts forever.
