Takes 5 – 10 minutes a month They send monthly reminders What are the goals? Here’s a few… Collect and share shelter data for increased transparency and evaluation. Accurate counting of animals entering and leaving shelters on a local, regional, state, and national basis. Allow organizations to compare their data with that of other organizations Supported by PetSmart Charities, Best Friends, Maddie’s Fund, Petco, ASPCA, HSUS, others.

11 FACTS 5 years/10 events, over 30 groups each event, over 7000 animals adopted Return rate 2-3% (many groups report this is as good as or better than their normal rate) Rescues and shelters do their own adoptions We provide volunteer help and have a full medical staff at the event

NO time limit. You can choose to adopt or not! Home visits are permitted but you must have them done during event hours and finalize your adoptions We provide crates if needed We advertise to families and the vast majority of people attending are families
