2 It is recommended to create a folder with all files that will be used for the exam (published exam, student assignments, audio files, etc.)

3 Publishing an Exam

4 Now that the exam is created it will be necessary to publish the exam so we can assign it to a group of students.

7 When you click on Save the software will open the ExamView Test Manager where we proceed to create the classes or groups of students to which the exam will be assigned. Click here

9 Click on Start a new class

10 Fill in the fields and click on OK.
Click here Fill in the fields and click on OK.

11 When creating a new class we have two ways to add students:
Manually Imported from a database.

12 Manual creation Fill in the students information and click on OK
Click on New Student

13 Importing Students From a Database
Click here Go to your student list in Excel. Select the students first names, last names and IDs and copy.

14 Click here Paste the information copied from excel in notepad and save as a text file.

15 Click here In ExamView Manager go to File/Import/Class roster from text.

17 How to Create an Assignment

18 Be sure to slect this option and then click on Next
Click here We will now create an assignment for our crafted exam and assign it to our students as seen above.

20 After this make sure to Save.
Click here After this make sure to Save.

21 For a student to take an exam we now need to open the exam from the ExamView Test Player. For this you will need assistance from the lab technicians.
