Bounded by Grand Avenue to the north
Ashland Avenue on the west
Eisenhower Expressway to the south
Chicago river to the east

3. Getting There... We went on November 1st. Train
Take Dan Ryan/ 95th street
Loyola----->Lake/Clark
Transfer to Green line
Lake/Clark----->Morgan
We picked the Morgan stop because it was right in the heart of the West Loop.
It seemed like a nice urban area to get to know.

Population - 54,881
Pop. Density / square mile
Residents’ Age - Young Families, less diverse
age group.
Median Income - $62,770
This income is quite high
compared to neighboring areas.

7. Restaurant: Jubilee Juice
Heather Hwang-Italian Club: “It was decent. It wasn’t the best Italian club I had ever had but it wasn’t bad. I would eat there again.”
Jessica Brosch- Veggie Quesadilla: “Apparently I love goats, but not goat cheese. I wasn’t expecting it to be so bitter! The raspberry smoothie was fantastic. I would eat here again, but skip the fancy stuff.”
Krunal Patel-Chicken Burger: “It was huge! I Didn’t expect it to be that big. I ate half and was already full. Tasted great! Loved the raspberry smoothie! Would eat here again, but end up finishing at home!”
Joneil Escobar -Honey Mustard Chicken Burger: “It was so good and you get what you pay for! The lemonade was really sweet and delicious. I recommend this for college students. It’s cheap and worth it.”

9. Trendy, Hip, High Class CULTURE
Expensive dining
Historically a warehouse and manufacturing district.
Buildings have been converted into lofts and apartments.
Gentrified
Highly populated by young families, young people in general.

10. Other Restaurants
Nando’s Peri-Peri : Famous for flame grilled peri-peri chicken.
Little Goat Diner - Privately run, gourmet foods, seemed pricey, though.
Girl and the Goat - Same owner as above, seems to specialize in wine tastings.
