3 Example: Determine if the triangles are similar
Yes….because the similarity statement is ∆ JKL∼∆ QPM, so  ∠L≌∠M and if we         find the missing angles, we discover that   ∠J and∠Q both equal 48 degrees.                                 No…..because the similarity statement is ∆ABC∼∆GFD.  ∠C and ∠D are congruent, but ∠B≆∠F, so does not follow the AA similarity postulate.
