2 Verbs with reflexive pronouns
Here are some more verbs with reflexive pronouns. Some of these verbs show that the subject acts upon itself when used with a reflexive pronoun. arreglarse to get ready cepillarse (el pelo) to brush (one’s hair) darse prisa to hurry ducharse to take a shower pintarse las uñas to paint one’s nails tardarse en + infinitive to take a long time (to)

3 Different meanings of verbs with reflexive pronouns
Some verbs with reflexive pronouns have a different meaning than the verb without a reflexive pronoun. ir to go irse to leave poner to put ponerse to put (something) on

4 Position of direct object and reflexive pronouns
Use direct object pronouns to replace the direct object of a verb. Reflexive pronouns always go before direct object pronouns. ¿Te estás pintando las uñas? No me las puedo pintar ahora. No tengo tiempo. ¿Cuándo vas a pintártelas? Me las voy a pintar esta tarde.
