2. Line, Shape & Landscape Start with a horizon line
In the FOREGROUND, use lines and shapes to create a row of pumpkins along bottom of page
Using OVERLAP and SIZE, create the illusion of a field filled with pumpkins, stopping once you reach the horizon line.

Include other objects in the field if you wish,
such as trees, a fence, a scarecrow…

Use Crayola “WASHABLE” markers to add a THICK outline of colour around the edge of the pumpkins
Go over the marker with a watery brush to dilute and blend the colours

BACKGROUND… Consider the effect you want (time of day, weather, mood…) and choose colours accordingly.
Wet the ‘sky’ or background portion of paper, avoiding areas you’d like to stay white. Apply watercolour in watery wshes.
