5 Alliance Clinic as a result of this project took a look at the programming we now have and made changes to our clinic……... We extended the initial orientation by adding a new comers group that expands over 6 weeks and made it mandatory for all new admits. We expanded our relapse prevention groups to be offered 3 times per week with 3 different counselors at various times throughout the day for better attendance. We developed a Hmong Cultural Specific Group ; one group for men and another for women due to differences within their society. We felt that the programs offered as designed were not meeting the needs of our population and our clients needed more structure. We felt after researching the Enhanced Tx project and developing areas that were weak, that we could also enhance the low intensity program that we now work with. Program Redesign & PDSAs

6 IMPACT & OUTCOME Increased positive outcomes in toxicology screens. Clients more engaged in the treatment process. Increased clients take-home medication. Less congestion in the clinic. low intensity group attendance increased. More diversity in our group settings. Less illegal activity on the premises Case managers more engaged and focused.
