6. There are going to be some changes in school beginning next week.
A big change is changes in the timetable

7. This means that some of your teachers and lessons may change.............

8. Some of you may have fewer lessons which means that you can concentrate on skills that are really important for everyday life.

9. There will also be changes in the timing of the school day..............

10. Lesson 1
Will now begin at 8.45 am until 9.15 am and this will take place in your form room with your form staff.
For some of this time you will be studying PSHE but this will also give you time to begin the day properly with your form tutor and friends in class.
You will be able to talk about how you are feeling and be more ready to learn when you move to lesson 2.

11. Registration at the end of the day...............
This will be from 2.45 until 3.05 pm.
This will be called Reflection and Reward time.

12. Although there will no longer be ‘Fun Friday’ this time will be spread across the week. You will now have time to reflect on the day with your form staff and talk about any issues that have happened during the day so that you do not go home feeling worried about them.
It will also mean that if you have had a really good day there will be time for your form staff to reward you. This might be circle time, reading, playing games depending on what you enjoy the most.

13. Break will now be earlier................
10.25 until 10.40am

14. You will have extra time for lunch!!!
First lunch will now be until 1pm
Second lunch will now be 1pm until 1.35pm

15. It may take a little while for both students and staff to get used to the new routines.
These changes are to make things better so that you do have time with your tutor staff and if you earn them, rewards can be every day not just on a Friday.
