2 Ideation versus Brainstorming
Ideation is a new buzz word for coming up with ideas. According to Wikipedia “Ideation” is the process of creating new ideas. 3 Gathering useful Ideas
Everyone should have the opportunity to express ideas. Every idea may have value at some point. No criticism is allowed. You want to work for quantity. Piling-on to someone else's idea may make an even better idea. Copyright © Texas Education Agency, All rights reserved.

Rules Establish team norms (rules that everyone agrees to). Decide who is in charge. Be prepared to take a break when things get heated up or things slow down. You are working as a team and the whole team gets credit for the solution, not one individual. Record all ideas so you will know what has been visited and what has not.
