3. Historical Tragedies in Freedom Writers Research
Each group will be assigned a topic
You will be assigned specific research sub topics within your groups
1st fill out your K and W portion of your worksheet about your main topic
2nd Research assigned sub topic using the laptops
Decide amongst your group who gets what sub topic: Who?; What?; Where?; When?/How?; Why?
3rd Fill in appropriate box for subtopic and record information for works cited page. (need at least two sources)
4th jigsaw with group and fill out information for rest of 5w page and “L” column

4. Presentation
Tomorrow you will briefly present your information to the class
As you listen to other group’s presentations, summarize their findings
The summaries will be included in your class notes T
