2 the coypu or nutria (ny)
In 1889 the coypu or the nutria was brought to the united states from Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia for its fur. When the fur market collapsed in the 1940s, thousands of nutria were released into the wild by ranchers who could no longer afford to feed and house them. This made them destroy other habitats and make it there own which makes them invasive.

3 The American bullfrog (ny)
Because of there big size and voracious appetite, these creatures out weighs there pray on the deadly scale. These creatures invade other habitats and eat any living thing that can fit in there mouth.

4 The red fire ants (ny) Red fire ants move in huge groups and build very large ant hills for shelter and protection. Thy came from brazil a long time ago which was not recorded They settle mainly in dirted areas of land so they can build there hills but this is being invasive in a way because they could be invading someone’s backyard

5 The emerald ash border (ny)
The emerald ash border is a beetle that invades ash trees and nibbles on the wood. these trees are still well populated but that could change very soon considering the fact that these beetles have chewed through at least 10 million of these trees since 2002.

6 The eastern grey squirrel
The eastern grey squirrel is similar to the red squirrel but these animals are invading homes of the red squirrels in Europe.

7 Russian olive plants Russian olive plants are invasive because they take over steambanks, lake shores, and prairies and choke the vegetation

8 The green iguana The green iguana is invading islands and spreading diseases form the U.S to other foreign places like Fiji.

9 The fallow deer The fallow deer is an invasive species from the middle east that damage a lot of the vegetation around Texas.

10 The stink bug (ny) These insects are invasive because they find there way into houses and spay and they’re spray has a potent small.

11 The African land snail (ny)
This species of snails is an invasive one because they have parasitic nematode that can cause meningitis and they may represent a threat to New York

12 Wild boar (ny) The boar is invasive because they can cause major damage to property, and agriculture. These animals were brought to the us from early European explorers.
