2 Millenials -born between 1980 and spend 6.5 hours each day using electronic devices

3 Characteristics of the 21st Century Learners:
* They like to be in control. Prefer to use technology to study than to just sit in a classroo

4 * They like choice. * They are group-oriented and social.
* Use technology in new and creative ways. * Highly collaborative sharing what they learn with others.

5 * They are inclusive. * They are practiced users of digital technology.
Use hypertext links to divert from original searches and learn about new subjects. Can perform more functions with mobile phones and other wireless equipments.

6 * They think differently. * They are more likely to take risks.
They use tool to find information they need. Example. Google

7 They value time off because they view life as uncertain.
Materials want their own time and when it is free to be dictated according to their own terms.

8 Key Attributes of the 21st Century Learners -Group Oriented -Global -Technologically confident -Risk-taking -Optimistic

9 Characteristics of the 21st Century Teachers

10 The Challenges of Teaching Millennial
1. Learning must be relevant to students. 2. Technology can be distracting. 3. Technology can be expensive.

11 4. Millennial risk being over-schooled and overworked.
5. Some millennial will not pursue post-secondary education.

12 Great teachers using digital technology with certified computing skills will be the most powerful educators in the 21st century.
