1 Choice of Exercises: Why have you chosen each exercise? Is it core of assistance? Which muscle group will it be focusing on? Is this important for your client’s sport? Number of Exercises: How many stations have you included and why? Order of Exercises: Why have you put the stations in this order?

2 Resistance For each exercise which resistance will your client be using? Repetitions How many repetitions should your client complete? Sets How many sets should your client complete?

3 Rest between sets: How much rest will your client have between each set? Speed of Movement How slow/ fast should each movement be and why? Systems of Training: Is it a simple or a pyramid circuit?

4 Justification of the resistance session plan
Timings Intensity Type Justify the timings of the warm up (pulse raiser and stretches). Justify the work and rest timings in the main activity. Justify the amount of times the circuit will be repeated. Justify the timings of the cool down (cool down and stretches). Justify why your client will work at 50% of their maximum heart rate during the warm up. Justify why your client will work at 80% of maximum heart rate during the main activity. Think about how long they have to keep going for and the energy system they are developing. Justify the intensity that your client is working at during the cool down. Justify the method of training that you have included in your main activity. Think about the advantages and disadvantages of this method of training Think of 2 alternative activities and the advantages and disadvantages of these.
