Smart Pet Sitter Hello, Everyone Today, I will talk about Smart Pet Sitter for senior design. My name is Hwandong Joo Designed by Hwandong Joo

2 Project Description This product is a IoT(Internet of Things) device that help people raise pet easily. It makes people care and monitor their pet whenever people is outside. It dispense pet food automatically whenever people wants. In addition, this product can give a warning to user when their pet barks. I want to descript my project. Read all senetence.

5 Microcontroller It receive commands from wireless internet by user.
It works a serve motor for feed the food. It receive data from sensors and send the result to user It will be Arduino or Raspberry pi with Wi-Fi modular The microcontroller acts like a brain.

This project makes IoT product for pet. This product can feed food to pet and monitor them. In addition, the user can control all of features by wireless internet. Product Users The people that raise the pet at home or apartment. Also, the animal shelter can use it. 11 Architectural Design The power supply will power the microcontroller and the microcontroller will power the other parts. I do not choose a Arduino or Raspberry Pi for a microcontroller, so I will test both of them and choose one. The microcontroller will receive the everything from weight sensor, camera, and others and send it to user by using wireless services. Also, it will control the serve motor for feeding foods.

13 Hardware - Schematics This product has six parts; Microcontroller, Power supply, Serve Motor, Weight Sensor, Camera, Speaker, and Microphone.

14 Theory of operation The power supply will give power to the microcontroller. The microcontroller will receive signal from other parts and send the signal to user through Wi-Fi module. The serve motor will control the amount of food. It will controlled by microcontroller. The weight sensor will check how much food are left and send signal to microcontroller. The camera will take a video and send it to microcontroller. The sound sensor will catch a sound, and send a signal to microcontroller The speaker will receive a signal from microcontroller and play sounds.

16 Software Design The microcontroller is a head of body. It receive signal from all sensor and control serve motor. In addition, It communicates with user through electric device that can connect wireless internet.

How much food can user control to feed? What time interval between feed time can user set? How can user monitor their pet by camera? How can user check whether their pet is barking or not?
