2. Activator/Warm-up Journal 29:
Has society progressed to the point where we have accepted interracial dating. Specifically in America or Cobb County? What about the South compared to the North?
Lets go over these journals and move on to our character chart!

I am going to put 15 minutes on the clock. Use this time to work with your theme project group.
Find examples for Act 3 and then go back and find quotes for Act 1 and 2

5. Break from reading!!
Okay, now for the fun! We are going to take a break from the play to do a project!! Yay!! This is going to be a poetry project!!
We are going to read the following poem about deception.
You will chose one of the characters from Othello, write a poem about one of the three subjects from the point of view of the character that you chose.
Take the rest of this class period to finish this poem. It is due at the end of class :) Make it fun and interesting!! Modernize it to fit what these themes are like in YOUR world.
