1 Task Status - Recap

2 Task 1: Monitoring Best Practices
Interim Releases of Available Tools in Toolbox Injector Well Monitoring Techniques With Advantek Revised Interpretation Techniques for Hall Plot

3 Task 2: Matrix Injection
Methodologies for Evaluating Bulk Quantities or Using Lumped Parameter Techniques Goal Is for Correlation Development In Conjunction With Task 5 Resolve Plugging Issues When Does Fracturing Occur?

4 Task 2: Matrix Injection
Trailing Average Evaluation Confirm/Evaluate OIW Importance “Pros and Cons” of Existing Models Test Applicability of WID? Distribute WIRE Interactive Front-end to HWU Spreadsheet as Part of Design Tool (identify, diagnostics, performance)

5 Task 3: Soft Formations Release/Use Various Tools and Reports Described by A. Settari (Poro- and Thermoelasticity Tool, Matrix Model, Perforation Collapse) Reasons for Significant Skin Does PEA-23 Correlation Work on Soft Formations Contact Laurence Murray About Availability of BP Data Snorre Data Will Be Provided

6 Task 3: Soft Formations Release Reports (Modeling Tools, Injectivity of Completions Needs Finishing, Disposal Domain, Investigation of Completion Skin of Perforated Completions, Turbulence, Apparent Injectivity Resolve Differences of Opinion on Calculations for Evaluating Injectivity Data

7 Task 4: Stimulation/Mitigation
Mitigation With the Task 5 Effort Selection Tool and Best Practices Economics Proposal - All Tasks Surface Facilities - All Tasks - Develop Best Practices Draft Slope Change Versus Translation WIRE - Resolution of Friction Along the Length of the Fracture

8 Task 4: Stimulation/Mitigation
Formation Damage Identification. Define Remedial Action That Can Be Taken. General Information From Service Companies Identification of Problem Assess Whether and When to Treat Assess Longevity Industry Performance Metrics

9 Task 4: Stimulation/Mitigation
The longer you wait during the decline, the less effective the stimulation and the shorter time that it will last

10 Task 5: Layered Formations
Defer SMART Wells and Mechanical Isolation Survey Evaluation of Snorre Data Focus on Near-well Conformance in Injectors but Do Not Neglect In-reservoir Plugging - Quantification -Incorporate Lumped/Bulk Correlations in Multi-layered Models Best Practices

11 Task 6: Horizontals Focus on Methods Rather Than Models
Need Resolution on Continuation of Effort With V.I.P.S.

12 Task 7: Database Status Progress Since
Unit Conversion on Interface Screens Database adjustments Fix of several defects User settings

13 Task 7: Database Status Units Conversion
The default units for each user are set in the user settings. The data is initially displayed in the unit set specified in the user settings. You can change the display units from the unit drop down box (this will not change your default unit type).

14 Task 7: Database Status Database Adjustments
The initial database design assumed extremely detailed data sets. The database and data entry program have been adjusted to better reflect the actual data.

15 Task 7: Database Status Fix of Several Defects
Fixed data export on detailed queries. Fixed list of available data for a well. This bug showed that data existed for a well, but the data was not there when you tried to view it. Resolved an error associated with logging in.

16 Task 7: Database Status User Settings Change login name and password
Specify default units.

17 Task 7: Database Status Soon to Come
Add in more fields to be included in detail queries (More field will be added by the end of September. Additional fields will be entered until all data has been entered) Online Documentation (Available at the end of October) PC Version (Available at the end of December)

18 Task 7: Database Status PC Version
The PC version will be nearly identical to the Web Version. It will be run through a browser but will use a local database. This will require that Personal Web Server (PWS) be installed. PWS is free and comes with Windows 98 and It is also available for Windows 95 and NT. A simplified data entry program will also be included.

19 Task 8: Field Validation
