Jot down all the reasons you can think of to support your opinion
Sort your reasons. Group similar reasons. Put them in order, saving your best for last
Jot down your final boxes and bullets.
Pull out all your best evidence for each reason.
Consider how the other side might respond with a counter- argument.
Write up a rebuttal, or what you will say in response.
