Diminish the amount of waste, whilst taking advantage of as much waste as possible
Create environmental culture and conscience
Give credit where it is due (to environmental compromise )

3. ASSEMBLY TRAILERS
Add as part of the assembly protocol to display 1 short video with an environmental message
This will ensure constant environmental messages to the community without interrupting more class than what it is necessary

4. REINFORCE PREVIOUS CAMPAIGNS
Use a short space during Wednesdays to visit the different clubs in order to remind people about the campaigns and how they could help
Previous campaigns include:
Destapa tu solidaridad
Pilas con el ambiente
Separation at source

5. 4-R’s
Work together with the student council and alumni association to come up with a strategy to divide students (classes or houses for example) and start a recycling competition, in which there is a reward for the winner.

6. Recycling day – Last day of school
Last day of school students clean up their lockers and lots of recyclable material is produced (paper)
Usual bins aren’t enough to hold the amount of waste produced, recyclable materials are then disposed in other cans or left on the hallways
Add a temporary recipient for that day so students can leave the recyclable materials therE
Encourage source separation

7. Breakfast with maintenance employees
organize a breakfast to thank the employees in charge of cleaning Bach and waste collection for their hard work and compromise with the school’s recycling Project
Reinforce the fact that “corazón Verde” is both an employee and student group
Show recognition and appreciation towards the extra effort that recycling implies

8. Tea powder next to drinking fountains
Explore the possibility to have tea powder next to drinking fountains so that students can make their own tea in their bottles

9. Decorate bins
Write recycling instructions and design some drawings to decorate the lids that the bins currently have
Remove the plastic lids trash cans currently have in order to make the process easier and more comfortable
