2 Human Resources within VISION 2020 HR Program Committee (originally HR Working Group) Established in 2005 by IAPB Board Linked to other major components of VISION 2020: – Disease Control – Infrastructure & Appropriate Technology

3 HRPC Priorities Support formation and effectiveness of Regional Human Resource Working Groups Mainstream VISION 2020 HR into health systems and the broader global health workforce alliance. Develop a single, core reporting tool on HR availability, needs, and training Exchange strategies for HR development across regions. Develop Global HR capacity building for research (including research on impact of HR strategies).
