Do you like to read? Why or why not? If so, what kind of books or stories do you like to read? Why is reading important? How would your life be different if you had never been taught to read?

Think of your favorite memory or a story that your family likes to tell again and again. Write the memory or story in your journal. Make sure to tell the whole story in your entry. The story can be about anything, as long as it is a complete story.

Describe yourself as a stranger might see you. What would they think about you based on the way you look? What would they think about you based on the things you do?
