“The Zoo” by Doc Byron Please take out your worksheets for “The Zoo”.

2 Please answer the following questions.
Who do you think the zookeeper could be? Why is the visitor so shocked that they recreated a human? Why were they exterminated?

3 Questions for “The Zoo”
1. Now that you have read the story, how does your futuristic animal compare or contrast with the animals in “The Zoo”? Some might have been similar by combining animals. Others might have made an animal who is part robot.

4 2. If the zookeeper and visitor are not humans, what are they?
3.Where do you think this takes place? Why? Some might say they are aliens, who took over the earth or are on a different planet. Maybe they exterminated man.

5 3. Why do you think humans would end up this way
3.Why do you think humans would end up this way? How can that be prevented? -The humans might have misused technology and inventions which led to their destruction. Perhaps a smarter animal, robot or alien took over. We could prevent this by being cautious with what we create and how we use inventions and science.

6 4. Why do you think the zookeeper needed special permission to make a human?
-The zookeeper needed special permission because humans were considered highly intelligent and dangerous.
