12 stars – time of the patriarchs before the time of the Law, Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob – they were shining as stars in the dark, dark world. At the time of Noah, there was only him shining as a star
Moon – does nothing except to reflect the sunlight. Moses’ books only shows the shadow, to reflect the Son to come
Sun – Jesus was the rising of the sun in the gospel and Malachi. The sun rising the righteous Christ
Male child – referred to as the overcomers, the principle in the bible - male is stronger

28. The Corporate Male-Child
“She bore a male-child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up to God and His throne.” (Revelation 12:5)
A child in the womb – small part of the woman
Stronger part – victorious and faithful
Comprised of all of the overcomers of all the ages who will rule over the nations with a rod of iron
Woman is considered the weaker vessel according to 1 Pet. 3:7, “Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.”
The woman bore a male-child – “bore” or to give birth is the resurrection from the dead.
Acts 13:33, “God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.’”

Rev. 12:3-4, “And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.”
Appears in front of the woman and seeking to devour the child
Rev. 12:5, “She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.”
The male-child is rapture to the throne of God

Immediately after the male-child is raptured to the throne, the war breaks out in heaven in which Satan, the Devil, the great red dragon, and his fallen angels will be cast down from heaven.
Rev. 12:13-16, “13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.”
Because Satan cannot devour the male-child, and then is cast down to the earth, he is enraged to persecute the woman by sending a flood in his attempts to destroy the woman.
But the earth protected her by opening her mouth to swallow the flood
Rev. 12:17, “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
And now that he cannot destroy the woman, he will make war with the living Christians and Jews left on the earth during the final 3 ½ years of the great day of God’s wrath
That’s why it say in Rev. 12:12b, “…Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

34. The Characteristics of the Firstfruits
“Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.” (Revelation 14:1-5)
The Overcomers
The male-child is also referred to as the overcomers. Revelation 12:11 says: “And they overcame him [the dragon, Satan, the accuser of our brethren] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
By the blood of the Lamb we not only were redeemed, forgiven and cleansed from our sins, but also presently are released from any condemnation (Rom. 8:1; 1 John 2:1-2). Many times the accuser [the devil] reminds us of our past sins (Rev. 12:9) and causes us to live a defeated Christian life. But if we apply and experience the power of Christ’s effective blood we will overcome him.
The living and powerful word of God (Heb. 4:12) should not only be our spiritual food, but also to strengthen us to live by the Spirit and overcome our fallen fleshly condition (1 Pet. 2:1-3). We not only should know God’s word, but should also live by it. How many of us are willing and obey to follow the Lord in His speaking in Rev. 2 & 3
Repent and come back to our first and best love?
Not to bring mixture of the world into the church
Becoming stagnate or complacent
Luke warm, always sayin I know
As ones who live Christ (Gal. 2:20), we would truly deny our soul life and follow the Lord in everything (Matt. 16:24). Many of the overcomers paid the ultimate price to be martyred in the face of death (2 Tim. 4:6-8).
