Open your computer and begin logging on. Log on to iLit. Copy the following words. Circle their suffixes (ending parts). D E F I A N C E H A B I T A T I O N Once you have logged on, go to Assignments and continue working on Interactive Reader, iPractice or Independent Reading.

3 Vocabulary: Defiance: When a person disobeys rules. Hulking: Very large or heavy. Enforce: To make a person obey a rule. Bellowed: Shout in a loud voice out of anger. Recline: To lean or lie back. Habitation: Where someone lives. Stupefied: Stunned or shocked. Hordes: Large crowds of people.

Work on iPractice 1.1: Ask Questions (in Assignments), 1.2 Predict the Outcome, and 1.3 Visualizing, 1.4 and 1.5 Writing an informative para. 3) Work on Grammar Study Plan. 4) Work on Extra Practice: Word Match. (in Assignments). 5) Work on the Interactive Reader assignment sent to them (in Assignments). 6) Go to the Library. Click My Level. Choose a book to begin reading.

6 Work Time: Students will be working in small groups with Mr. Kern: Silent Reading Comprehension Review Interactive Reader Short Responses (completing the paragraph)
