The speed of an object is a measure of how quickly the object gets from one place to another.
To determine a speed, you need to know two things:
the distance traveled.
the time taken.

9. Example Problem
An IPC student is late for class and has to run to get to their classroom. The classroom is 80 meters away and it takes them 20 seconds to get there. What is their speed?
V = d/t v= ? d= 80m t= 20s
V= 80m/20s
V= 4m/s
