Objective: Students will be able to identify the mean, median, and mode given a data set. They will also be able to identify what happens to each when one additional piece of data is added.

2. Notes
Measure of Central Tendency: describe the center of data. Mean: average add all #’s # of items BEST: NO OUTLIERS

Must be least to greatest.
If two numbers, add and divide by 2

Mode: most occurring numbers. BEST: MANY REPEATED NUMBERS If numbers are up the same amount of times, there is NO MODE.
