2. Multiplying integers
To multiply integers you must first know that if you multiply a positive by a negative it will stay negative but if you multiply ether a positive by positive or negative by negative it will be positive. To give a basic example of these concepts here are some integer problems: * 3= * 3 = * -5 = 40 Other than this concept it’s just the same as regular multiplication. To compare here are some examples: -8 * -5 is the same as 5 * 8 -2 * 3 is just 2 * 3 with a negative sign on the answer. Here are some practice problems: * * * 8 Answers will be on answer slide.

3. Dividing Integers
Dividing integers is the practically the same as dividing.
Using the concept as before here are some examples:
-25 / 5 = -5
49 / 7 = 7

To make it simpler to understand think regular division.
Now add in the concept of + + = + and - - = + as well as - + = -
So it’s pretty much division with – and +
