2 Your task: Imagine you are planning a Scout trip to a city you haven’t been to before. Choose a city Talk about how you will organise your trip – remember to use the information sheet provided Give an individual presentation about your trip. Write an to the tourist office there using the planning sheet to help you.

3 Information sheet 5 pupils going
One is in a wheelchair so there needs to be disabled access Dates: 4th – 7th May 2017 Accommodation – hostel – up to $300 per night per person One of the pupils is a vegetarian The pupils are keen to go swimming, sightseeing and visit museums Talk about this with student, potential difficulties, questions that you might have to ask the tourist office.

4 Make a travel brochure about your city
You must include: Bullet points or numbers Title Information about things to do 3 Images Captions Contact details Speak directly to audience e.g. ’you will’, ‘come and visit’ Use a rhetorical question ‘don’t you love culture?’ ‘Why not come and visit?’ Use Paris brochure to support this.

Where you are going? Where you will stay? When are you going? What you want to do there? Any difficulties? What do you need to find out?
