Inclusion Class Ms. Lamberson teaches her class in an inclusion setting, which means that she teaches special education students as well as normal students. This year, almost all of her students have some sort of learning disorder so classroom management is always a difficult task. However, Ms. Lamberson has been teaching inclusion for a long time and she is very good at keeping her students on task.

Class Themes Some themes that are prevalent in Ms. Lamberson’s class are lack of focus among many students. A lot of the students are easily distracted and tend to talk. They often take longer than necessary to finish their work.

Inside Jokes Ms. Lamberson and the other third grade teachers joke about how one of the third graders is “gifted” because she is very confident in all of her work and is well spoken. She is not gifted. However, she is very smart and hard-working.

Daily Routine The class routine varies from day to day, but the class usually practices science or social studies first thing in the morning. They have P.E. every day and have English and math when they return.

Behavior and Discipline Plan
Students are usually well behaved in Ms. Lamberson’s class. They may act up but always quiet down when Ms. Lamberson tells them to. If a student continues their bad behavior, they may have their seat moved away from the rest of the class.
