1 Warm-Up: Take a ¼ sheet of paper.
Open your computer and begin logging on. Log on to iLit. Number your paper 1-4. Write the letter of the definition that matches the word. Previewing a Text Theme Questioning Retelling Used to make sure the reader remembers the key details. Requires more than a “yes” or “no” and it helps the reader focus on the details. Used to set a purpose for reading. It is the “message” the author wants the reader to learn. Once you are logged on, go to: Interactive Reading
