Level 2 Group work Making Performing Responding Area of assessment
I find it difficult to cooperate in groups I usually let other members of my group suggest ideas Making I have a basic understanding of drama skills, eg facing the audience I can use stimuli to develop drama Performing I can act out improvised dramas and can create characters I perform with little confidence in front of the class Responding When asked by the teacher, I can discuss my work and that of others I can use a basic drama vocabulary

I work well with my friends I can offer suggestions for devising drama Making I can support the planning and structuring of plays I can help create and perform simple scripts Performing I can establish a character, with some control over voice and movement I can perform with some confidence Responding When asked by the teacher, I can discuss the difference between my work and that of others and can suggest improvements I can use drama vocabulary

I can work extremely well with everyone in my group I can contribute creatively to the devising and and rehearsal process of the drama work Making I can create performances for different audiences and purposes using various genres, styles and traditions, I can refine my work in rehearsal, work and develop a piece of devised work and transcribe it into a scripted scene Performing I can make full use of the available performance space and resources in my productions I can combine sound and silence, movement and stillness, light and darkness to create a powerful piece of theatre Responding I can recognise and articulate strengths and weaknesses in a piece of work, suggesting areas for improvement

I can improvise, rehearse and perform theatre pieces, demonstrating understanding of the skills of the performer, technician or director Performing I can demonstrate imagination and considered justification when interpreting a range of texts Responding I can write and talk about plays in performance, showing a good knowledge of theatre conventions and devices I can analyse drama in performance, using appropriate language and theatre vocabulary to suggest improvements
