Example: The location of your birth is permanent, as it is a fact that will never change no matter how old you get or where you go in life.

Example: The light will permeate through the curtain when the sun rises.

6 Persist Definition: (verb) to continue with purpose Example: His persistence has always paid off.

8 Post-test Definition: (noun) an achievement test given after the course Example: Our post test procedure is to call you.

9 Posthumous Definition: (adj) continuing after one’s death
Example: Due to the popularity of some of his best films, the director’s posthumous reputation grew even larger than the one he enjoyed while he was still living.

Example: Because of the ice storm, we will have to postpone our trip until the roads are safe.

Example: Most people are familiar with postscripts in the form of the common abbreviation P.S.
