2. Materials •Essential Elements 2000 Volume 1, 2, or 3
(you will need the book for your instrument and the level for your grade)
•All Instrument Accessories needed:
rosin, extra strings, shoulder rest, rock stop etc.
•Pencil(s)
•1 or 1.5 inch 3-Ring Binder with a packet of 5 binder dividers.

3. Practice Expectations
Practice Assignments are turned in electronically through Google Classroom.
Students are expected to practice a minimum of 100 minutes per week divided over the course of 3-4 days.
Please set up a practice schedule with your student that works with your family schedule. It is important that the students practice in a quiet place where they will be undisturbed during their practice time.

4. Are concerts important?
YES!!!
The concert is where students are assessed on their mastery of skills learned in Orchestra class.
Attendance at all concerts is mandatory.
Concert Uniforms
Concert attire is All Black
Black pants, shirt or blouse, shoes, and socks.
Girls may wear skirts that come BELOW the knee.
No tank-tops, T-shirts, or jeans.
