4. Aleksis Kivi Aleksis Kivi was born 10.10.1834 in Nurmijärvi. He wrote many plays, novels and poems. The most well-known novel is Seitsemän veljestä (The Seven Brothers) (1870). Kivi died in 1872 when he was living in his brothers house.
