13 3 Required Components 1. Adult education and literacy activities 2. Workforce prep – academic skills, critical thinking skills, digital literacy skills, self management skills 3. Workforce training for a specific occupation – occupation skills training – on-the-job-training (OJT)

14 The adult education and literacy activities, workforce preparation activities, and workforce training must be provided concurrently and contextually such that: 1. Each are of sufficient intensity and quality; 2. Occur simultaneously; and 3. Use occupationally relevant instructional materials in all 3 components.
