Measure the quality of the advice that agencies provide to the public Housing, Benefits and Debt advice – divides advice into Types Peer Review – case-files shared with peer reviewers who check the accuracy of the advice recorded in those files Audit – measures how an agency is managed - focuses on areas such as people management, financial management and staff training

2 SNSIAP – so far 113 agencies booked in for peer review up to September 2019 43 agencies have completed peer review process - 84% Successful peer review – agencies have a year to complete the audit process

Remit – what does the agency do? Staff supervision and training Knowledgeable case-checking Case recording

4 Accreditation and funding
Is an agency accredited or in the process of seeking accreditation? What is their remit? Do they regularly supervise their staff? Do they check case files and who does the checking?
