It is designed to cover both segments and the name specifies this fact Synonymous for performance and responsiveness The tire is the “contact” element between vehicle and road. The supplementary name stands in each case for the segment designation. Ultra High Performance means that the tyres are designed for very high speeds in combination with high load ratings.

5 Features and Benefits

6 Asymmetric Tread Pattern For Optimum Properties
Outside Solid shoulder blocks with links to the pattern rib  Steering precision  Cornering stability  Traction / braking Wide circumferential grooves to gulp and expel water  Aquaplaning resistance

7 Asymmetric Tread Pattern For Optimum Properties
Center Steep lateral groove angles  Low pattern noise Large blocks with links to pattern rib for excellent block stability  Traction / braking  Steering precision  Straight ahead driving

8 Asymmetric Tread Pattern For Optimum Properties
Inside Open groove system leading into circ. grooves, wide lateral grooves  Aquaplaning resistance "Zigzag" splits up the leading edge of the blocks  Reduced pattern noise

9 50% Bionic Contour Good resistance to aquaplaning,
low rolling resistance narrow, round contact patch Straight running Wheel load 6300 N Short braking distance and good cornering disproportionately wider contact patch Braking Wheel load 9500 N 50% approx. 50% more growth in width compared to conventional contours

10 Rim Protector . . . to protect the valuable aluminium rims
for all tyres with aspect ratio  55%

11 4 circumferential grooves 5 circumferential grooves
Pattern Versions 4 circumferential grooves 5 circumferential grooves for tire widths up to 285 mm for tire widths 295 mm and wider
