Students interested in serving on the School Site Council or the Governance School Council can self-nominate through a google form: (Google form can be accessed through the PSCS website:

2 After School Meetings - GSC
Maintaining the school vision and aligning the vision with pilot school autonomies Annually reviewing the school’s progress on indicators of student engagement and achievement Developing school policies Hiring a principal and Evaluating the principal on an annual basis Approving the annual Elect to Work Agreement (EWA) that includes a dispute resolution process Developing/modifying and approving bell schedules Deciding on minimum and shortened days Deciding and approving the allocation of funds from IMA under textbook fines Meetings last one hour and are held once per month Committee Membership:   Parents (3) Students (3) Principal (1) Other Staff (Certificated or Classified) (1) Role Carrying Classroom Teachers (4)

Develop, revise, and adopt the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) Ensure that the school meets all federal parental involvement mandates Review recommendations from ELAC  Develop and approve the school-level Title 1 Parent Involvement Policy Develop and approve the Title 1 School-Parent Compact Develop and approve the Title 1 parental involvement budget Propose expenditures of all categorical funds Develop the comprehensive school safety plan Meetings last one hour and are held once per month Committee Membership:   Parents (3) Students (3) Principal (1) Other Staff (Certificated or Classified) (1) Role Carrying Classroom Teachers (4)
