2. There once was a good witch named Tanya
There once was a good witch named Tanya. She was a teacher, who believed that the young witches and wizards needed to grow up knowing the difference between good and bad.

3. One day a little girl raised her hand and said “Teacher
One day a little girl raised her hand and said “Teacher? Why are there good and bad witches and wizards? Is it fun being bad? How did they turn bad?”

4. Tanya said, “Lizzy, bad witches all use to be good
Tanya said, “Lizzy, bad witches all use to be good. Someone hurt their feelings. Someone was mean to them. Have you ever been mean to one of your friends?” “Yes”, said Lizzy.

5. Tanya asked “Class, please raise your hands if you have ever been mean to someone.” She looked around, “See Lizzy? You aren’t the only one.”

6. The teacher began drawing on the board
The teacher began drawing on the board. When she moved, all the kids started laughing. Tanya had drawn pictures of funny and goofy faces. “Laughter makes everything better. I want all of you to make someone laugh today.”

7. Laughter filled the school house
Laughter filled the school house. Tanya knew the lesson for today had been learned. “Now students, what have you learned today in school? Why is it important to stay in school? Did you figure it out through our experiment?”

8. A tiny boy jumped out of his seat and said “I know. I know
A tiny boy jumped out of his seat and said “I know! I know! Pick me teacher!” “Okay, Jimmy. Speak loud and clear”, said the teacher.

9. “We learned that friends are important and we should be nice to everyone no matter what. Also, we should stay in school, so we can learn these good lessons.”

10. “Very good, Jimmy. School is over for today, but remember this lesson
“Very good, Jimmy! School is over for today, but remember this lesson! I’ll see you kids tomorrow!” said Tanya.
