Breakdown of population surveyed
18 of the 20 providers of secondary education in the city took part in the survey
Survey is a snapshot undertaken every two years
Total of 4,365 pupils in Year 8 (ages 12-13) and Year 10 (ages 14-15) completed questionnaires anonymously
2075 (48%) males, 2290 (52%) females
85% described themselves as White British (compared to 89% in 2016)
83% described themselves as Straight/Heterosexual, 7% as Bisexual, 2% as Gay/Lesbian.
