4 Anti-cyclones An anti-cyclone occurs because of changes in the air pressure. Areas with above average pressure (high pressure) are called anti-cyclones and they usually bring good weather. Cool air is sinking so there is few clouds – in the summer this means hot sunny weather and in the winter is brings fog and frost

5 Depressions Depressions bring with them clouds and rain
They develop where warm air meets cold air The boundary where they meet is called a front Depressions are areas of low pressure Depressions usually from over the Atlantic Ocean and move from west to east
