Given two images of a specific subject, taken from specific points with specific camera setting and orientations, try to build a synthetic image as taken from a virtual camera placed in a different point and with given settings.

Method What we do is mostly focusing on detecting, grouping, and extracting features (edges, faces, etc.) presented in a given picture and then trying to interpret them as three-dimensional clues. Image-based modeling and rendering allows the use of multiple two-dimensional images in order to generate directly novel two-dimensional images, skipping the manual modeling stage.
